Job Summary:

We’re looking for an Aluminium & Glass Technician to join our installation and fabrication team. You will measure, fabricate, install and maintain aluminium and glass systems for commercial and residential projects, with strong practical skills and safe working in both workshops and on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble aluminium frames, doors, windows and curtain wall parts.

• Install sealed, toughened, laminated and double-glazed units.

• Install and adjust hardware.

• Carry out site surveys; report issues and liaise with teams and clients.

• Ensure work meets specifications, regulations and health & safety requirements.

• Complete installation records, snag lists and handover packs.

• Maintain tools and work areas; report defects and maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in aluminium and glass fabrication and installation.

• Ability to read technical drawings, details and glazing schedules.

• Competent with fabrication equipment and glazing tools.

• Knowledge of glass types and correct handling, storage and installation methods.

Desirable

• Experience with curtain wall systems, shopfronts, balustrades and structural glazing.

• Familiarity with silicone and mechanical fixing systems for glass installation.
