Job Overview
NAFFCO is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support supply chain planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and practical experience in analysing supply chain data, monitoring inventory levels, identifying process improvements, and supporting efficient material flow from suppliers to customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with procurement, warehouse, production, logistics, finance, sales, and other internal teams to improve supply chain performance, ensure product availability, control costs, and support timely business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse supply chain, procurement, inventory, and logistics data to identify trends, risks, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, replenishment requirements, slow-moving items, excess stock, and potential stockouts.
Support demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, and material requirements planning activities.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering inventory, purchasing, supplier performance, order fulfilment, logistics, and supply chain KPIs.
Track purchase orders, material availability, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to follow up on delayed, incomplete, or urgent orders.
Review purchasing and inventory data to support cost control, efficient stock utilisation, and improved working capital management.
Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, lead times, order accuracy, quality issues, and service levels.
Support the development and maintenance of supply chain performance indicators and service-level reports.
Investigate supply chain discrepancies, including inventory variances, delivery delays, order issues, and data inconsistencies.
Maintain accurate supply chain master data, including item codes, supplier information, lead times, minimum order quantities, and replenishment parameters.
Assist with warehouse and inventory audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and corrective action tracking.
Support logistics planning and analyse transportation, freight, delivery, and distribution performance.
Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce lead times, minimise costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Prepare ad hoc analysis and management reports to support supply chain and business decisions.
Work with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely communication of supply, inventory, and delivery information.
Ensure supply chain records and reports are maintained in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant professional experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, inventory management, logistics, or operations.
Strong experience in analysing supply chain data and preparing operational reports.
Good understanding of procurement, demand planning, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, and supplier management.
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain, procurement, inventory, or warehouse management modules.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
Experience with data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
Ability to develop and monitor supply chain KPIs and performance dashboards.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work accurately with large volumes of operational and supply chain data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and data quality issues.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting and operational deadlines.
Knowledge of supply chain performance measures, inventory optimisation, and process improvement principles.

What We’re Looking For
