Welder - TIG/ARC (Roof Sheet)

Join NAFFCO as a TIG/ARC Welder: craft strong, leak-free aluminum roofing and cladding components while working safely with a skilled team on projects that protect people.

The Aluminum Roof Sheet TIG/ARC Welder is responsible for welding aluminum roof sheets, flashings, gutters, trims, and related roofing and cladding components. The role includes fabrication, installation support, repair, and ensuring high-quality, leak-free welding work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum roof sheets, flashings, gutters, trims, and accessories.

  • Perform ARC welding on GI and metal components as required.

  • Weld aluminum sheets ranging from 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm thickness.

  • Prepare, repair, and inspect welded joints to ensure quality and leak prevention.

  • Operate TIG/ARC welding machines, grinders, and fabrication tools safely.

  • Work safely at heights using PPE, fall protection, manlifts, or scaffolding.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and installation teams during roofing works.

  • Work in outdoor construction environments.

Preferred Skills

  • TIG/ARC welding certification preferred.

  • Experience in roofing, cladding, waterproofing, and aluminum finishing works.

  • Ability to operate manlifts and scaffolding equipment.
